I have owned many yachts in my lifetime; one builder has proven that it’s above the rest: Neptunus Yachts. The quality, engineering and design of your yachts are unprecedented. The hidden systems of your yachts are by far the best I have seen. The attention to detail, ease of maintenance, and seaworthiness make your yachts a step above the rest.

In 2016, I was introduced to a 1997 55′ Sedan in Florida; at first glance it was just like any other yacht. However upon closer inspection, it became apparent, this was no ordinary yacht.  It has the capacity to run 30mph, and comfortably ride in rough seas without worry. Neptunus has the interior styling of luxury yacht, with the exterior designed for safety in all conditions.

In 2017, as summer arrived, you introduced me to a 1997 50 ‘ Aft Cabin near my home in Canada. Looking for another vessel to cruise the great lakes in comfort for the summer, I purchased her. She had the same polish and seaworthiness as the 55′ Sedan with the added benefit of an aft cabin stateroom for long weekends. The amount of space integrated into the interior made her feel like a 60’ vessel.

In 2018, you gave me the opportunity to own one of the most popular models a 2010 580/560 Fly bridge. This one of a kind 580, was outfitted with a country kitchen layout in lieu of a lower station. Creating openness that is hardly seen in vessels this size. It has exceeded the 55′ in many ways, from the dual flybridge station s, full beam master state room, and spacious interior. While maintaining the core with ease of maintenance, efficient use of horsepower, and exceptional 12/110/220v systems, seen in each of your designs.

Jan I would like to thank you and your crew for building one of the few yachts, which I can say are small elegant ships with the seaworthiness of larger class vessels. I can’t wait to see your future models and designs built on your internal system designs.

As new owners of a custom 75 Neptunus Yacht, we want to thank the builders of our retirement dream. This is not our first boat. We have five 5 boats and had a custom build before. Nothing in comparison to our experience with Neptunus. The quality of the product, the knowledge of the product and all the bells and whistles plus some beautiful pillows and decor. Our retirement dream had quite the wow factor. We have cruised the Great Loop, the Bahamas, and the North Eastern Coast of the USA and Canada and all the way to our North Atlantic home Port in St. John’s, NL. Never have we had such comfort in a boat. We have already made two trips from Lake Ontario to Newfoundland and we plan to travel south to Florida this winter. Such exciting plans and such a beautiful yacht. Thank you Neptunus Yachts and thank you Jan William De Jong for always going above and beyond and always being a phone call away. You are not just yacht builders, but also builders of dreams. A product you can be proud of.

Buying a CE Category A boat was a first for us. There are numerous safety systems to ensure the safe operation of the vessel. But, the people at Neptunus took all the time we needed to learn the important operating systems on board and how to maintain them with confidence.

We were impressed with the build process of our new boat. We were invited to visit the manufacturing plant as often as we could to see the construction details behind the beautiful finishes on the boat. To ask questions and really be involved in the customization and selection of materials that would truly make this boat ours. And, we really appreciated the help people at Neptunus provided when we were undecided about certain colour and fabric choices, and needed an experienced eye to guide us on making the right choices.

The people at Neptunus listened when we wanted a certain colour of floor finish, which they hadn’t used before and didn’t have samples to allow us to choose from. At first they thought our choice was unusual, but after getting the flooring manufacturer to provide several customized finishes for our review and selection, they jumped on board with our choice and really made it work well in the overall decor of the interior.

Some people thought we were crazy for wanting to move up to a 65’ boat from a 45’ boat. But after experiencing a life changing event my wife and I decided that we were no longer going to “settle” for anything less than our dream boat. Although intimidating at first, the patient folks at Neptunus quickly had us handling our new yacht with the confidence of a seasoned captain.

We have owned single engine, twin engine, straight shaft, I/O’s and Zeus pod equipped boats, but the Yacht Controller System that Neptunus installed on our new 65’ express, is the only system we would ever install on a boat again. It makes handling the boat in close quarter marinas, locks or anywhere that slow maneuvering is necessary, a dream. People are amazed at how easily and precisely we can control the vessel even with wind and current conditions you would otherwise avoid.

We love the look of our new 65’ Express. Everywhere we go, people simply love the design and want to know what the make is. It is a definite show stopper. Driving our 65’ Express is a true pleasure. Especially at cruising speeds (which is a remarkable 25-26 knots). It just plows through waves, but with only the sound of rushing water. There is no “pounding” or “banging” like we have experienced in other boats we have owned.

We have been living on board our boat for the last 4 months. The comfort is just like home, but the scenery even better. The systems and creature comforts aboard are truly first class, and make the boating experience everything it should be.

Whether you need a replacement part or just some advice, the personal attention to customers’ needs seems ever present from those at Neptunus. You’re treated as an important client and not just someone to be passed off from department to department – I think that is an important distinguishing advantage of dealing with a smaller hands-on builder.
